One week ago, my friends and I decided to try the Pasig River Ferry. It was something that intrigued us, so we headed down to the Guadalupe ferry station in order to take the ferry to Intramuros.
While waiting for the ferry to arrive, I started snapping pictures along the Pasig River. This picture shows a relatively common sight while traversing along EDSA, but taken from a different point-of-view. You can see the Guadalupe Bridge, with the MRT line running directly above it. There’s the Pasig River, which is still quite polluted, although thankfully the stench is no longer unbearable. And of course, there is the unavoidable sight of the giant billboards. Many commuters along EDSA see these sights everyday, but in this picture, they’re presented from another angle. It was a refreshing take for me, personally.
That was this week’s TravelTuesday Picture of the Week. I’ll do a full entry of my Pasig River Ferry experience soon, but for now, check out all the pictures I took of this trip on Flickr. Enjoy the rest of TravelTuesday on Twitter and follow me @hyperren. Come back next week for another PotW!

Right, on Ren. Sometimes it’s all about one’s perspective—we concur!

@Daniel Agreed… It’s always nice to see something that you’ve gotten used to seeing with fresh eyes.
