The first Travel Massive event of the year in Singapore will be on Monday, 16 January 2012, 7-11pm at La Viva Tapas Bar in CHIJMES (near City Hall MRT).

On 17 October, I attended Travel Massive Singapore, "a global initiative to connect people in the travel industry locally." It was a great networking event, and I met a lot of different people who were doing many different interesting things in travel.

9 August is Singapore's National Day. At last year’s celebrations, Marina Bay Sands was lit up in Singapore’s colors, red and white, as well as the crescent and five stars seen on the national flag.
